  1. Wasn’t true as much earlier on.. but today ‘fringe-surviving’ outlets like NBC News (non-cable broadcast) pay close attention to their twitter, FB, Instagram and direct letters to the editor feedback as to what to present nightly! What you are seeing broadcast is VERY close to what they are hearing from their viewers. This is a trend I hope to see more and more.. Social Media should get the HELL out of News and go back to their “Gossip Base”, Conspiracy Theories and misanthropic USELESS memes!

  2. NBC has been pretty good in recent years. The beauty is that some people still get it for free without cable and can have a TV in each room! The programming was actually better in the old days with one or two TV stations than now with 100s on Cable. Cable was supposed to be ad free but now it has ads.

    • This is why I can proudly say I’ve never had a cable TV account in my entire life that I paid for keywords that I paid for LOL. And most people you’re right don’t remember the original attraction for cable TV why would you pay for TV you already get for free why would you do that? Only because they said it would be ad free no commercials so right away everybody signed up personally I think it was just an underhanded way for the broadcast industry to back out of a market that they had no future in and create one that was profitable going forward I think they shut themselves down for profit. That’s my opinion and I’m sticking to it
