Negev/Naqab Desert: Israel Turned the Promised Land into the Poisoned Land

99% of this entire post I had NO IDEA about historically – well done guys!. As I read through this post I was appalled at the callousness and murderous abuse of the desert by Israel. It always confused me how on old maps the entire region was called PALESTINE then all of a sudden ISRAEL pops up right in the middle and declared itself a State/Country? This is a post everyone should read and understand clearly the atrocities that were bestowed on the Bedouin people and THEIR land! I have to take a ‘step back’ and digest this moronic atrocity as I am too high-strung to study it is detail at the moment – but I will return to this story hopefully sooner than later.. 😳😵😠😡

Under the plan, Trump said, the Palestinians will “double” their land, but they must give up about a third of the West Bank to Israel for it to have an eastern border. In exchange, the [Trump] administration proposes they take two separate pieces of land in the Negev desert.” https://www.voanews.com/middle-east/palestinian-leader-take-trumps-peace-plan-un-security-council I think that we can guess what parts of the Negev/Naqab desert Trump wants to give to the Palestinians.  Furthermore, it is a desert.

The Naqab Arabs share the desert with Israel’s nuclear reactors, 22 agro and petrochemical factories, an oil terminal, closed military zones, several quarries, a toxic waste incinerator, cell towers, a power plant, several airports, a prison and two rivers of open sewage. Despite these numerous hazards, it is the Naqab arabs themselves some mainstream Israeli environmentalists see as a central environmental danger in themselves.

How does this make sense? Zionists laid claim to Israel based on historic claims and claims in the Old Testament-Torah that this is their “Promised Land”. And, yet, they turn around and exhibit the behavior of colonial settler states, like the United States, and turned it into a toxic dumpyard “Poisoned land”  in less than one hundred years. Meanwhile, they vilify the Bedouin. Most animals keep their beds clean. Some rodents soil their own nests, however, as do some mafia (e.g. Italy’s “Triangle of Death”).

The ‘Promised Land’ has in a matter of decades become a ‘Poisoned Land,’ reveals the November 10th weekend edition of the widest-read Israeli daily, Ma’ariv.

According to the article, Israel’s 10 major polluters include industrial polluters, wealthy contractors, waste dumps, and the indigenous Bedouin of the Negev/Naqab Desert.
