Internet Trolls Jammed Iowa Caucus Hotline For Reporting Results | Hallie Jackson | MSNBC

DDOS – What is it? It is an acronym for ‘Distributed Denial Of Service’ attack. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Denial-of-service_attack  The principle is simple – overload the server (in the digital world) or overload the switchboard (in the PSTN world). The difference today is non-existent. Phone switchboards today are ALL DIGITAL! That is what happened during the Iowa Caucus Results posting failure. When you OVERLOAD a server or phone switch with ‘incoming traffic’ you can bring the entire system down to a standstill resulting in ZERO functionality!

THAT is what DumbAss Doofus republican ‘Trolls’ did the night of the failure to upload cuacus voting results.. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caucus  There is NO DEFENSE for this when it comes to a Digital Switchboard since it is a minimal server with little “hardened” or “resource” capability to stop such an attack – but there IS A DEFENSE in a true server-based digital system. This PHONE app was DOOMED TO FAILURE out of the gate!!! And unless we go back to Paper Voting we will never have a fair election again – EVER!!

Welcome to DumbAss Doofus Crime Syndicate world — you will live with this the rest of his term — Sorry!! ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha.. SUCKERS!! ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha,  ha, ha, ha, ha.. BUT HE’S YOUR BOY! ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha.. you are dealing with a deranged, misanthropic, megalomaniacal, psychopathic sociopath WHO WILL NOT STOP UNTIL YOU STOP HIM!!
😳😠😡

The phone number to report Iowa caucus results was posted on a fringe internet message board on Monday night along with encouragement to “clog the lines,” an indication that jammed phone lines that left some caucus managers on hold for hours may have in part been due to prank calls. Aired on 02/06/20.
